Module 5 – Independent Space Federation (I.S.F.)

Module 5 stands as a symbol of past hardships and hope for the residents of the I.S.F. This sector suffered greatly during the war between the Federation and Mahonia. Previously, the I.S.F. modules relied on energy cells imported from Mahonia in exchange for resources mined from asteroids. However, when Mahonia reduced its energy supplies due to its own production crisis, tensions escalated into full-scale conflict.

Past State:
During the war, Module 5 was severely damaged: heating systems and air filtration were destroyed, making survival a daily struggle. Even after the war ended, the module remained largely unrepaired, leaving its inhabitants isolated.

Turning Point:
Karina Lin, a physicist from Mahonia, collaborated with Clemont Bronde, an astrophysicist from the Federation, to create a network of [RFT] fusion reactors and a revolutionary energy transfer system known as The Tonnel. This innovation aimed to resolve Mahonia’s energy crisis while providing support to the Federation. Module 5 became the first site equipped with a receiver for The Tonnel. The system’s activation, dubbed "The New Beginning," marked a historic milestone in restoring stability.

Present State:
The Tonnel has enabled the restoration of heating, air supply, and essential infrastructure in Module 5. Despite this progress, the station still bears scars of the war: scorched panels, rusted structures, and abandoned zones that have yet to be rebuilt. The residents, while experiencing improvements, carry vivid memories of their struggles.

Module 5 has become a beacon of transition from mere survival to revival, serving as a reminder of the fragile peace between the Federation and Mahonia.
